Come out and cook red chili, green chili and salsa at the Cheyenne Depot Museum! Chili & salsa must be
cooked from scratch on site the days of the cook-offs. All chili must be prepared in the open. Bring a 10’ x 10’
tent. You have a chance to win prizes and trophies. Enjoy a Cooks Party Saturday night in the Depot lobby.
Other activities include a People’s Choice Award, Showmanship and Best Booth Awards and Free Bands all
Day! A great time to show off your cooking skills! You will need to make chili for the judging and public
tastings. This event is exclusively sponsored by Union Wireless, and co-hosted by the Cheyenne Lions Club,
the Cheyenne Depot Museum Foundation, and the Cheyenne Depot Museum.
International Chili Society (ICS) - The ICS Cook-Offs are on Saturday & Sunday. A $50 ICS
membership is required. New ICS members receive a $10 discount off their first competition. There are two
chances to earn the right to compete at the 2010 World’s Chili & Salsa Championship. The Mile High Regional
ICS Cook-Off is Saturday, with a chance to win cash prizes. Cooks meeting is on Saturday at 8:45am for
Saturday’s competition. The Wyoming State Championships ICS Cook-off is Sunday. Cooks meeting is
Sunday at 8:45am for Sunday’s competition. Fees required to participate in either day are $25 for One Entry
(Chili or Salsa), $40 for Two Entries (Chilies or Salsa) and $55 for All Three Entries (Chilies & Salsa).
Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) - The CASI Cook-Offs are on Saturday & Sunday, with
a chance to win trophies both days. No membership required. Cooks meeting Saturday & Sunday are at
9:00am! Categories are Traditional Chili Red, Chile Verde and Salsa. Fees required to participate in either day
are $20 for One Entry (Chili or Salsa), $30 for Two Entries (Chilies or Salsa) and $40 for All Three Entries
(Chilies & Salsa).
